5 Nigerian pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia, 30 with mental health challenges

Five Nigerian pilgrims taking part in the current Hajj in Saudi Arabia, according to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, have passed away.
Usman Galadima, the leader of the NAHCON Hajj medical team, revealed this on Saturday and stated that 30 patients all had mental health issues.
He mentioned that many who struggle with mental illness are undergoing therapy and will likely perform Hajj.
His words: “There are 30 of them with mental health challenges.
“We have been managing them in our facilities. We have about four psychiatrists on the team.
“We have been managing them and all of them would likely perform hajj because they are a bit stable now.”
