Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has designated a University Professor Grace Umezurike as the State Secretary (SSG).the Secretary to the State Government(SSG).
Umezuruike is the first lady to be designated SSG throughout the entire existence of the state.
Nwifuru revealed this in a proclamation by his main media official, Dr. Monday Uzor, delivered toward the week’s end.
According to Uzor, the SSG will be confirmed at the State Executive Council Chamber Government House, Ochudu Centenary City Abakaliki, on Tuesday.
“The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Horn. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has supported the arrangement of Professor Grace Umezurike as the provincial secretary of Ebonyi state.
“The arrangement is taking effect right now.
“She will be dealt with on Tuesday, June 13, 2023,” said the warrior.
Umezuruike, before her arrangement, was a Senior lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, Ebonyi State University.
She is the wife of the former Commissioner for Health in the David Umahi administration.
