Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Police police Public Relations Officer, has stated that the police will investigate the petition filed by late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba nicknamed MohBad against music promoter Samson Balogun aka Sam Larry.
Days after the singer’s death, a petition filed by late MohBad over an alleged threat to his life by Sam Larry and others surfaced online.
According to the petition, Sam Larry and 15 other people stormed a video shoot where the dead and another musician, Zlatan Ibile, were working and caused mayhem.
The FPRO tweeted on Tuesday, sharing a copy of the petition on his X page, “We will look into the alleged police negligence on this case.”
Following the receipt of the June 27 petition, the Lagos Annex, Force Criminal Investigation Department of the Nigeria Police Force, Zone 2, Alagbon, to whom the letter was sent, disclosed that it had invited Sam Larry and others, but MohBad was absent.
Adejobi responded to this claim by saying, “We also need to know why he declined the invitation or appearance at the office.” So many things to learn and clarify. And all will be completed.”
MohBad’s death was revealed on September 12th. He was 27.
