Mohbad: MTV Base delist Naira Marley’s musics from playlist

Following the death of a Nigerian singer, Mohbad, the popular British music station MTV Base has banned Marlian music.
Naira Marley, a Nigerian artist accused of having a hand in Mohbad’s unexpected death, owns the record company Marlian Music.
Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, under unknown circumstances, according to Platinum Times.
Following the singer’s controversial death, certain national radio stations have issued a “Not to Be Broadcast” (NTTB) ban on all music released by the Records Label.
A staff member of the MTV music station and prominent TV host, Ehizojie Okoeguale, aka DadaBoy Ehiz, made the news on Wednesday, adding to the expanding number of music outlets that have banned Marlian music.
“MTVbase dropped everything Marlian,” Okoeguale stated in a post on his X. Congratulations to them.”
