Hon Christopher Atule Okoche, a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly who represented Ibaji Constituency on the People Democratic Party (PDP) platform, has switched to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okoche was also the former Caretaker Chairman of Kogi State’s Ibaji Local Government Area.
He stated this at a gathering of APC stakeholders held on Sunday in Ibaji Local Government.
He stated that his choice to join the APC was based on the massive strides made by the APC government at the federal and state levels.
He stated that he had consulted with his immediate constituency and that he will join the APC at a later date with all of his followers.
Okoche stated that there was no certainty of victory in the November 11 governorship elections for the PDP or any other party in Kogi State other than the APC.
