Jigawa: Gov. Namadi warns LG chairmen against lateness to work

Malam Umar Namadi, Governor of Jigawa State, has warned that his administration will not tolerate absence or tardiness to work.
On Tuesday, Namadi issued the warning during unscheduled inspection visits to the Kiyawa, Miga, Jahun, and Kafin Hausa local government councils.
The governor, apparently irritated for not meeting some chairmen on the spot at several council secretariats, stated that his administration will not allow absence.
Only the chairman of Jahun Local Government Area was present among the four local councils visited by the governor.
“The affected chairmen would be given query to explain why they were not on the seat at the time of the visit,” the governor said.
Other places visited by the governor include boarding schools and health facilities.
