(Ajero) Activities grounded at Abuja airport as Labour leaders protest

Passengers were left stranded at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, following the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) actions.

According to what Platinum Times has learned, laboir leaders blocked the airport’s main entrance and exit while staging a protest, which they had earlier declared at a news conference in Abuja.

The possibility of cars and airport taxis to pick up customers is halted.

Some travelers journey to catch their flights, while others trek to reach the road that is distant from the airport in order to catch their taxis.

As drivers wait for the demonstration to end, there is heavy traffic on the route to the airport.

Passengers are seen talking about the unexpected scenario as some point the finger at Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, for the labour actions that followed Joe Ajero, the president of the Nigerian Labour Congress, being attacked.
