The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Similaye Fubara arrived the House to present the 2024 budget to the State Assembly.

Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie is currently presiding over the 90th sitting of the 10th Rivers State House of Assembly as the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly.
On Tuesday, Edison Ehie was formally recognized as the Speaker of the State House of Assembly by a High Court located in the capital city of Rivers State, Port Harcourt.
According to Platinum Times, Edison Ehie is one of the four legislators supporting Siminalayi Fubara, the state governor, in the current dispute with Nyesom Wike, the governor who before him.
