Abducted Abuja singer, band group regain freedom

Omoba De Jombo Beats, a Nigerian Juju artist, and his crew mates who were allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen while coming from an event in the Federal Capital Territory have apparently escaped their captors.
Adegbodu Taiwo, popularly known as Ejireadegbodu, a Nigerian artist, shared a video of them alighting from a bus after they were released in the early hours of Thursday on his verified Instagram account.
The musician and his band members were allegedly kidnapped in Abuja on Sunday, according to Platinum Times.
As of the time of submitting this report, all attempts to contact Omoba De Jombo Beats had been futile.
Nigerians, on the other hand, have continued to respond to the footage of Omoba De Jombo Beats and his crew’s safe release.
An Instagram user, known as iam_nadinemay while reacting to the video, wrote, “Thank you, Jesus.”
Another Instagram user, eyesans_pride, wrote, “Thank God.”
Another user, _peaceful_baddie, however, wrote, “Abuja is now becoming Afghanistan in Nigeria smh.”
