Kwazhi assumes office as new Osun CP

Bzigu Dali Kwazhi, a new Commissioner of Police, has been assigned to the Osun State Command.
CP Kwazhi has subsequently resumed duty, according to a statement signed by the Command spokesman, Yemisi Opalola, and acquired by Platinum Times on Friday.
Opalola further stated that Kwazhi’s assignment to the command followed the recent redeployment of former Commissioner of Police Isyaku Mohammed.
According to the statement, CP Kwazhi is a thoroughbred professional who has created a name for himself in a number of police deployments.
“He was born in Mildu Shalmi, Madagali L.G.A of Adamawa State. He has grown to become an achiever.
“The Commissioner of Police, a holder of B.A in History/Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State was SEC 45 alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos,
“He was appointed into the Nigeria Police Force in May, 1992 as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (Cadet ASP).
“CP Bzigu Kwazhi has served in various capacities at different states of the country and outside Nigeria.
“A pure-bred professional who has, since joining the FORCE, made waves in the departments that hold the Nigeria Police, namely: administration, operations and investigations like a colossus.
“He was a Contingent Commander, Nigeria Formed Police Units to the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), among others. Pioneer Police logistics Officer/NCC, Team Coordinator ECOWAS Mission, Guinea Bissau and Chief of Training, Department of Peacekeeping Operations, FHQ Abuja among others.”
The statement also added that CP Kwazhi is happily married with children and is an “experienced, embodiment of transparency, integrity and worthy of emulation.”
