Tacha speaks on type of feminism practised in Nigeria, calls it witchcraftcy

Natacha Akide, a Big Brother Naija reality TV star known as Tacha, has stated that feminism in Nigeria is witchcraft.
The reality star stated this in her most recent interview, while discussing her conflict with Mummy Zee.
According to Platinum Times, Tacha previously discussed Mummy Zee, the woman who got famous for rising up at 4:30 a.m. every day to cook for her husband, in an interview on her colleague Phyna’s podcast.
A social media user had mentioned to Mummy Zee that Tacha was insulting her on a show and Mummy Zee responded; “that one wey no get sense.”
Reacting to her, Tacha who found the woman’s comment disrespectful, went hard on her in a series of social media posts.
However, addressing the controversy during her trending interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Tacha denied the X user’s accusation, stating that she was defending Mummy Zee on the show.
While also explaining her own feminism, Tacha described that of Nigeria as witchcraft.
“So, I was literally praising this woman on my show, saying why was feminist trolling her because I love feminist then.
“I was like the feminism you people practiced in Nigeria is witchcraft because when you are supposed to come out you people won’t come out but for the wrong things you just hate men in general. That’s not what I practiced.”
