Dr Betta Edu is the strongest foot forward from Cross River state! She is hardworking, well read and has contributed to the success of the party both at the National and in the state.
All elections in her Constituency was won by her party APC, with contributive efforts.
Finding nothing on her, falsebearers have gone to town to claim she is not from Cross River state. I make bold to state that Dr Betta Edu is a Cross Riverian by Birth, By Origin, by Marriage she has the Cross River blood flowing in her veins.
For the records, the late Senator Rose Oko is a sister to Dr Betta’s Edu parent! This campaign of calumny must end.
In 2005 Dr Betta Edu a then medical student was the Treasurer of CROSS RIVER STATE MEDICAL STUDENTS ASSOCIATION In the University of Calabar, then she was a Cross Riverian, She was the Vice President of SUG In University of Calabar, a Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Health, then she was still a Cross Riverian, she became the First Director General Cross River state Primary Health Care Development Agency going through all the length and even to the remotest part of the state giving health care to all.
She became the Commissioner For Health in Cross River and rose to Chairman of all commissioners of Health in Nigeria, at that point she was still a Cross Riverian.
Presently she is representing Cross River state at the National Working Committee of the ruling Party and worked so hard to see that her party wins in the state while winning all her polling unit, Ward, Local Government and Constituency for the President Bola Tinubu, and canvassing votes of women across the nation, at that point she was still from Cross River state.
Now it’s time for reward; she has been allocated by talebearers to All sort of states from Ebonyi to Abia to Anambra to Adamawa to Imo to mention but a few, this is truly laughable and will only strengthen the President’s resolve to stand by her. Dr Betta Edu is from Cross River state by all standards and Cross Riverians are fully behind her.
