Edo 2024 Guber: Our party is positioned to win – LP Chairman

According to Mr. Julius Abure, the Labour Party’s national chairman, the party is strategically positioned to win the governorship election for Edo State in 2024.

When Mr. Stephen Osemwegie, a party candidate for governor, paid a formal visit to the party headquarters in Abuja, Abure made this statement.

He declared that the party was dedicated to running a qualified candidate and that it would support any contender who would promote the advancement of the Edo people.

He claimed that because the party’s primary elections will be open, fair, and legitimate, a level playing field was guaranteed.

“There is no gainsaying the fact that our country is in dire need of competent and quality leaders with capacity and vision and leaders who have what it takes for effective performance.

“Today, I am happy that along this line, we are raising leaders and followers who have bought into that vision to reclaim the country and specifically Edo state.

“The 2024 gubernatorial election in Edo is going to be a turning point in the history of Edo state.

“We have strategically positioned ourselves to be the party that will take over leadership of Edo state,” he said.
