A list containing nine nominees for commissioner has been sent to the State House of Assembly by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
Makinde forwarded the list to the legislators for review and endorsement.
Muhammed Fadeyi, the deputy speaker of the state House of Assembly, revealed this on Friday during plenary.
Abiodun Aikomo, Segun Olayiwola, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, Prof. Abdulwaheed Soliu, and Mr. Mojeed Mogbojunbola were a few of the nominees mentioned by Fadeyi when he read the list.
Others are Prince Dotun Oyelade, Mr. Williams Akin-Funmilayo, Olasunkanmi Olaleye, and Mr. Obafemi Ademola Ojo.
He further stated that on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the nominees are anticipated to come before the parliamentarians for screening.
Fadeyi further instructed the nominees to send the Clerk of the State Assembly 50 copies of their credentials and documentation of their clearance from the Code of Conduct office.
