If Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s candidate for president on February 25, is declared the winner at the election tribunal, the maverick singer Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has pledged to walk the streets naked.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, proclaimed Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner; on May 29, he was sworn in as president.
President Tinubu’s election is currently being contested in court by Obi and his party, the LP.
Charly Boy declared on his Twitter account on Wednesday that if the former governor of Anambra State prevails at the Tribunal, he will celebrate by stripping down.
He wrote,
“When Tribunal announce say Peter Obi don win even before the case reach Supreme Court, wetin you go do dat day?
“For me,I go naked waka from one end of Bodillon to Falomo [sic].
