Nigeria is united, Akpabio says as Peter Obi attends Barau Jibrin’s son wedding

The presence of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, at the wedding of Barau Jibrin, the deputy president of the Senate, has been cited by Godswill Akpabio as evidence of a unified Nigeria.

The fact that so many well-known people attended the wedding, according to Akpabio, who spoke after the wedding in Kano on Friday, attests to the fact that Senator Barau Jibrin is a peaceful man of the People.

“You can see that even the LP Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his people are here, this tells you that Nigeria will remain united as one entity”.

However, he urged the married pair Barau Jibrin and Ali Madaki to depart in peace while continuing to love one another and practice patience when there was a misunderstanding.

Kano was the location of the vice president, senator Kashim Shetima, and other dignitaries presenting the wedding feast of Abdullahi Barau Jibrin (Amir), the deputy senate president.

After today’s juma’at prayers, Amir will marry Bilkisu Aliyu Sani Madaki, the daughter of Rep. Aliyu Sani Madaki, the Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, at the Isyaka Rabiu Juma’at Mosque in Goron Dutse, Kano State.
