Angry female Army officer opens fire on colleague in Adamawa
At a checkpoint in Yola, Adamawa State, northeastern Nigeria, a female soldier assassinated a senior colleague.
According to the Daily Trust, the soldier was enforcing the curfew set by the government of Adamawa State.
According to Platinum Times Nigeria, Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, enacted the curfew after thugs robbed a government warehouse and stole many things, including medications intended to lessen the impact of gasoline subsidies.
The female soldier, identified as Lance Corporal Nkiru, allegedly shot a captain who tried to step in and stop her dispute with bystanders at Yola’s Fire Service Roundabout.
