Arewa youths knocks FG over fuel price hike

The premium motor spirit, also known as petrol, pump price hike has been strongly condemned by the Arewa Youth Forum, also known as AYF.
The organisation claimed in a statement released by its National President, Ahmed Mohammed Zagi, and made accessible to Platinum Times Nigeria that it was shocked to learn that the price of gasoline had increased to above N600.
The youths pointed out that, despite being a great development, the N8,000 monthly stipend provided to some families in the nation was much too little and should be increased in light of the rapidly rising prices of products and services there.
It made an appeal to the federal government to encourage states to prioritize agricultural revolutions that would provide enough food protection in the nation, claiming that such efforts would cause food prices to plummet as a result of the natural law of supply and demand.
The youths also urged President Tinubu and his advisors to think more deeply and develop long-term solutions to the nation’s economic woes.
