At around 2:38 p.m., the event occurred immediately after the Iperu-Ogere bridge, en route to Sagamu-Interchange, Ogun State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, spokesman in Ogun, Florence Okpe, verified the event and stated that the crash involved two male and one female adult.
“Two male adults were confirmed dead and one female adult sustained an injury,” she said.
Okpe, who added that the driver of the Toyota car was overspeeding, said, “the driver lost control and ran into a drainage by the roadside.”
The injured victim was taken to Victory Hospital, Ogere for medical attention, while the corpses were deposited at the FOS morgue, Ipara.
