Hajiya Mariam Yaro, Executive Secretary of the Zamfara State Investment Promotion Agency, was attacked by bandits on her way to a meeting with investors on Monday.
Platinum Times said that she was attacked a few kilometers from Gusau, the state capital.
According to reports, the terrorists opened fire on her, injuring her to varying degrees.

Attempts to reach the State’s police spokesman, ASP Yazid Abdulahi, for comment were unsuccessful.
