The body of an unknown man who leaped into the lagoon near the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge in Lagos State has been found.
Amodu Shakiru, the head of public education for the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, reaffirmed this on Thursday.
“Dead body discovered from Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge. Please send details shortly,” he replied in a short message.

According to a story from Platinum Times published on Tuesday, a man who has not yet been named plunged into the river beneath the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.
It was noted that onlookers were camped out at the scene trying to figure out how to mount rescue operations.
