Insurgents from Boko Haram have launched a series of attacks in Yobe State’s Damaturu Local Government Area, resulting in terrible deaths and property destruction.

The attacks occurred around midnight on Saturday, with gunfire ringing across the community, which is 17 kilometers from Damaturu, the state capital.

During the assault, a mobile police officer and two civilians were slain, and the district head’s palace in Kukareta, located on the Damaturu-Maiduguri Road, was set on fire by the attackers.

According to eyewitnesses, the attackers, who are thought to be Boko Haram fighters, swooped on homes and looted food before burning them down.
