BREAKING: After battle with Prison officials, DSS re-arrests Emefiele

After a fight with officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS), Department of State Services (DSS) agents on Tuesday re-arrested suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele.
Emefiele is once again detained on the grounds of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, after Justice Nicholas Oweibo granted the troubled and suspended head of the top bank bail in the amount of N20 million.
In addition, the judge mandated that Emefiele remain in custody until his bail requirements were met.
Court granted Emefiele N20M bail
Godwin Emefiele, the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) suspended governor, has been granted bail in the amount of N20 million by the Federal High Court in Lagos.
The allegations against Emefiele are bailable, according to a decision made on Tuesday by the presiding judge, Nicholas Oweibo.
Bail was approved with a single surety.
