Muhammadu Sanusi, who was reinstated as Emir of Kano on Thursday, has arrived at Kano’s Government House.
Despite a court injunction delaying his restoration, Sanusi is said to have arrived to receive his official appointment letter and take over as the state’s sole first-class Emir.
This move comes after a Federal High Court in Kano ordered a suspension of the implementation of the Kano Emirate amendment law, which had facilitated Sanusi’s reinstatement.
