Godwin Emefiele, the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) suspended governor, has been granted bail in the amount of N20 million by the Federal High Court in Lagos.
The allegations against Emefiele are bailable, according to a decision made on Tuesday by the presiding judge, Nicholas Oweibo.

Emefiele had entered a not guilty plea to the two-count allegation brought against him for suspected illegal possession of guns.
