BREAKING: Gang men storm UNIMAID campus, stab lecturer to death (photo)

Dr. Kamar Abdulkadir, a lecturer in the Department of Physical and Health Education, University of Maiduguri’s (UNIMAID), was brutally murdered on campus.

According to reports, Abdulkadir was killed on Sunday, March 31, when assailants broke into his workplace, stabbed him with a knife, then beat him many times with a hammer.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, revealed that the victim was later found dead in a pool of blood with many injuries inflicted on his body by his killers.

“His hands were peeled off when he tried to stop the attackers from stabbing him. They also used a hammer to smash his head and his spinal cord, killing him instantly,” Makama said.

The killers also zoomed off with his vehicle and other valuables.

The Borno State Police Command and the university authorities were yet to speak on the matter as at the time of writing this report.
