Breaking: Hoodlums storm warehouse, loot palliatives in Bayelsa

According to reports, several residents of Bayelsa State broke into a warehouse where palliatives were being stored in order to be given out to a particular set of people.

The state capital of Yenagoa’s warehouse, which is along the Isaac Boro Expressway, was reportedly searched on Sunday, according to Platinum Times.

SaharaReporters claims that the elimination of the subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit, more commonly known as gasoline, caused hardship in the nation and enraged the populace.

Uncertainty exists regarding whether the warehouse that was stolen contained food supplies delivered to the states as promised by President Bola Tinubu’s administration to lessen the impact of the elimination of fuel subsidies.

According to reports, the drugs that were stolen were supposed to be given out to flood victims in the state.

As of the time of publication, the state government has not yet commented on the occurrence.
