BREAKING: Ibadan residents stage massive protest over hardship

Angry youths in Oyo State have taken to the streets to protest the high cost of living, food inflation, and the country’s current economic crisis.
Platinum Times noticed that they were also chanting songs to express their displeasure.
Youths are demonstrating with posters bearing phrases such as ‘End food hikes and inflation’, ‘The poor are starving’, and ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises’, among others.
However, armed police officers were present at the protest site as demonstrators organized a peaceful rally against the economic hardship caused by the withdrawal of petrol subsidies and the unification of foreign exchange windows.
Recall that on Sunday, the police warned that no disturbance of peace will be tolerated during any protest in the state.
The protest in Ibadan follows rallies in Kano, Minna, and elsewhere about economic hardship caused by the elimination of petrol subsidies, food price inflation, and the high cost of living.
