The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, met in the Joint National Executive Council, NEC, and paused the continuing strike over the assault of NLC President, Joe Ajaero, among other unresolved concerns.
The strike was called off after the Federal Government intervened through the Office of the National Security Adviser, or NSA.
