Hon Moses Thomas Sule, the speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, has resigned from his position.
Hon Gwottaon Fom, the deputy speaker, has also resigned.
Gabriel Dawang, a member from Pankshin North, has been elected as the new speaker.
Hon Timothy Dantong of the Riyom constituency is the new deputy speaker of the Assembly.
According to our source, the event could be linked to the dismissal of Governor Caleb Mutfwang and other PDP lawmakers in the state house.
