BRT buses collide in Lagos, many injured

On Tuesday, two Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicles collided in the Lagos neighborhood of Dopemu.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, confirmed the injuries in an online video on its official X handle.
The event, according to the agency, caused traffic gridlock along the axis.
However, no one has been confirmed killed.
“Effect of this occurrence on traffic is minimal; however, our officers, as well as all other concerned authorities, including men of the Nigerian Police Force, are on the ground there doing the needful”, LASTMA stated.
When filing this report, LASTMA officials were seen at the accident venue transloading the content of one of the trailers.
