In an effort to see musician Davido, passionate fan Emmanuel Myam, alias Emmiwuks, rode his bicycle from Benue State to Lagos and has already reached his target.
Emmi Wuks arrived in Lagos on Friday, August 18, 2023, to a rousing greeting from the state’s Tiv population.
On Friday night, Olikita Ekani, a former media assistant to Samuel Ortom, the outgoing governor of Benue State, made this announcement on his Facebook page.
He wrote,
“Emmi Wuks, fast-rising celebrity, bicycle rider, and ardent supporter of Nigerian music superstar Davido has finally arrived in Lagos.
“He was welcomed by Mdzough U Tiv Lagos State members and Benue Chubby Queen Miss Kpadoo Upev.
“Congratulations and best wishes to him!”
According to Platinum Times, Davido had told the fan to “turn around” because he wasn’t currently in the nation, but when the fan insisted on traveling further, he requested his account number as a token and promised to meet him when he returned.
