Delta Police nabs 4 armed robbers, cultists recover ammunitions

Four armed robbers were apprehended by the Delta State Police Command, and ammunition and drugs were discovered.
According to the Command, operatives raided Kelubia Street, Agbor-Obi, acting on credible intelligence, and captured four suspects: Ogbolu Peter’m’, Justice Nmor’m’, Precious Odilu’m’, and Queen Mba ‘f’, all from the Agbor community.
Two locally made cut-to-size guns, one AK-47 magazine loaded with five rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, three rounds of 5.56mm live ammunition, two live cartridges, two Vikings secret cult berets, and ten wraps of weed suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered during the preliminary investigation.
Similarly, after receiving information of cult activities in Ogwashiukwu, members of the Police Crack Squad sealed off the area and detained one Chigozie John’m’, 36, and recovered one locally produced cut-to-size gun with one live cartridge. The suspect admits to belonging to the Aro Bagger Confraternity.
The suspects and recovered evidence are in police custody, according to DSP Edafe Bright, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta Command.
The PPRO also stated that an investigation has begun, and that efforts are being made to apprehend other members of the criminal organization.
