Dr Ado Ibrahim, Ohinoyi of Ebiraland laid to rest in Okene

Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, is buried in Okene, Kogi State.

Ibrahim was buried on Sunday at approximately 8.40 p.m. in accordance with Islamic customs.

The corpse departed Abuja late and arrived in Okene at approximately 6:45 p.m., according to Alhaji Salihu Sule, the secretary of the Ebiraland Traditional Council, who informed reporters that unanticipated difficulties prevented the burial from taking place earlier.

“On arrival, there was a family meeting that was held before the final internment according to Islamic rites,’’ Sule said.

Sheik Salihu Ebere, the Chief Imam of Ebiraland, who led the burial rites and prayers for the repose of the soul of the late Ohinoyi, prayed God to forgive the royal father his sins.
