Edo guber: APC pegs nomination form at N40m, reveals date for primaries
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has issued their program of activities for Edo State gubernatorial election on September 21, 2024.
Sulaimon Argungu, APC National Organising Secretary, announced the party’s timetable on Monday.
The selling of nominations, expressions of interest, and delegate forms for contestants will begin on January 10 and expire on January 29, 2024, with the primary election scheduled for February 17.
The APC has set the fee for the expression of interest and nomination forms at N10m and N40m, respectively, while those with disabilities and female aspirants must pay for the expression of interest, while the nomination form is free.
“Youths between 25 to 40 years old are to buy expression of interest forms with a 50% discount on nomination forms,” the APC stated.
Platinum Times reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has fixed November 16, 2024, for Ondo and Edo States governorship polls.
