The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set February 22 for the Edo governorship primary.
Debo Ologunagba, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, announced this in a statement issued Monday in Abuja.
According to Ologunagba, the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) confirmed the date, as well as the delegate list for the primaries.

He stated that the primaries would take place on the Lawn Tennis Court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.
He asked delegates, aspirants, leaders, and party stakeholders to take notice of the official date and venue and follow instructions appropriately.
