In a failed operation on Tuesday night in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, a suspected kidnapper was killed.
The purportedly unsuccessful kidnapping attempt took place at Magaji’s Compound, Alalubosa, and Oko-olowo axis in the state capital.
One person was killed and three others were critically injured in the kidnappers’ attack, but the unnamed Magaji managed to flee.
At the time this report was written, the deceased’s corpse was still at the scene of the tragedy.
SP Okasanmi Ajayi, the state’s police public relations officer, confirmed the occurrence.
He promised to provide further information later and stated that a team of police officers were already on the spot.
