Solomon Dalung, the former Minister of Youth and Sports, lost his father, Baba William Dalung, on Monday.
After a long illness, the elderly father died.
On November 30, the Former Minister’s mother, Late Mrs Nalkat Chirram, died.
Announcing the demise of his father via his Facebook handle on Tuesday morning, he said,
“While making final preparations for my mother’s burial on Saturday, 23/11/2023, I received yesterday, 18/12/2023, another devastating news of the passage of my father, Nimgbak William Fabong Dalung, at the age of 105 years.
“When he received the news of my mother’s exit, he called and commiserated with me. My father appreciated my modest efforts in taking care of them. He finally left me with these words, “Take heart because I am also on my way.” Was these the parting gift, my beloved Nimgbak?
“Until his exit, Nimgbak Dalung was a retired Director of Health with Taraba State Local Government Service Commission.”
