Gov Dapo Abiodun forwards 8 commissioner nominees list to Ogun Assembly

Only eight names were submitted by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun to the Ogun State House of Assembly as his commissioner nominations.
Tuesday’s plenary session featured a statement by Olakunle Oluomo, Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
Oluomo read a letter that the governor allegedly sent to the assembly on July 27.
Tomi Coker, Dapo Okubadejo, Abayomi Arigbabu, Adebowale Adesanya, Ganiu Hamzat, Jamiu Omoniyi, Oluwashina Ogungbade, and Olaolu Olabimtan were the individuals mentioned by the Speaker.
The nominees, according to Platinum Times Nigeria, were commissioners in his first term who he named as Special Advisers following the start of his second term.
The nominees were requested by the Speaker to appear before the House on Wednesday at noon.
He instructed them to give the assembly clerk ten copies of their credentials.
Considering that Ogun State has more than 20 ministries overall, the governor’s letter did not specify whether or not there will be another round of nominees.
