Gov Mbah list Ike Ekweremadu’s son as commissioners-nominee
On Friday, Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah named 15 commissioner-nominees, including Lloyd, the son of Chief Ike Ekweremadu, and Ada Chukwu, the daughter of former Governor Sullivan.
Their names are on a list that the state sent to the state House of Assembly and that was read aloud on the floor of the House on Friday in Enugu by Speaker Uche Ugwu.
The list, which also included Prof. Ndubueze Mba, Mrs. Ngozi Eni, Prof. Sam Ugwu, Chika Ugwoke, and Dr. Kingsley Ude, was signed by Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary of State Government.
Others include Mrs. Ugochi Madueke, Dr. Malachy Agbo, Gerrald Otiji, Nathaniel Urama, and Prince Lawrence Ezeh, both of whom were former commissioners.
In the letter, Onyia pleaded for their quick consideration and claimed that this was not the entire list.
He appealed, “While this may not be the complete list, I’m optimistic that this request will receive your customary prompt consideration.” (NAN)
