There are several former Ifeanyi Okowa cabinet officials among the 26 commissioners appointed by Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
The daughter of Emmanuel Uduaghan, a former state governor, is also included on the 26-man list forwarded to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
Charles Aniagwu, Chief Tilije Fidelis Okenmor, Rose Ezenwu, and Kingsley Ashibuogwu are the four ex-commissioners from Okowa’s most recent administration who are returning. They are in charge of information, secondary education, higher education, and Chief Tilije Fidelis Okenmor, who is in charge of finance.
Odingwe odige Daniel, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi Adanioma, Jerry Ehiwario, Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, and Hon. Pat Ajudua are more nominees.
The governor also proposed Jamani Tommy Ejiro, Prof. Tonukari Johnbull, Perez Omoun, Isaac Tosan Wilkie, Oligida Samuel, Barrister Funyei Manager, Hon. Onos Agofure, Olorogun Oyibode Vincent, and Emamusi Obiodeh.
Darlington Ijeh, Agbateyimiro Isaac Weyinmi, Sonny Akpororkimo Ekedayen, Etagherure Ejiro Terry, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, and Hon. Izeze Rume Yakubu Reuben are also up for the award.
