In spite of concerns about his health, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello returned to Lokoja on Wednesday.
However, in the recent days, rumors about the governor’s health started to circulate in various online communities. various people even claimed that he had passed away.
Defending the widely circulated rumor, Governor Bello asserted categorically that he was never ill and was always well, calling it the creation of individuals with ill purpose.
The governor told the populace that he was returning to fully resume his duties and attack crime and criminality in the state after a demanding week of activities in Abuja.
Bello was greeted upon his return to Lokoja by his adoring fans, who waited at key locations to catch a glimpse of him as the entourage slowly made its way to the Government House, Lokoja.
