Governor Adeleke donates 2000 mattresses, 1000 bunks to NYSC Osun State
His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has continued to show his commitment to the State’s National Youth Service Corps scheme through the multiple renovation projects of the camp premises.
These projects are in keeping with his desires to make sure that Corps members from all regions of the country posted to the state have a comfortable and memorable experience during the Orientation Course programme.
Some of the projects embarked on include the recent painting and reroofing of the pavilion, the painting of the administrative block, and all hostels. In line with the Governor’s promise, some hostels within the premises are also currently under construction.
These projects, by His Excellency, are set to keep the NYSC Osun State Permanent Orientation Camp on the map as one of the best in the country. His Excellency, aside the renovation and donations has also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the completion of the uncompleted hostel building in order to make more rooms available for the Corps Members deployed to the State and also cater for those on dislodgement.
Responding to the kind gesture of His Excellency, the State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim, who could not hide his excitement, expressed the heartfelt appreciation of the Scheme’s management to Governor Adeleke for loving and caring for the Scheme the way he is doing.
Agbor stated further that the Governor’s gesture is an encouragement to the NYSC in the State as Staff and Corps Members are more motivated to give in their best to ensuring the socio-economic development of the State through her various programmes and initiative.
