Yosi Yusuf, a student at the Gombe State College of Education, was assassinated early on Sunday by unidentified gunmen.
Yosi Yusuf, who was killed while working on his Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), was a native of the town of Bagange in the state’s Billiri LGA.
He was a third-year student who lived off campus in the Zazzagawa apartments.
The incidence was confirmed by ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, the public relations officer for the Gombe State Police.
He reassured the populace that an inquiry is already in progress and that those responsible will face justice.
The deceased’s body has been placed at the mortuary while authorities conduct their inquiries.
