Following a significant downpour on Sunday, a bridge in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State that connects a few towns and villages has fallen.
According to reports, the bridge gave way on Sunday at 1pm when drivers were on it.

Although no lives were lost, a resident of Shendam named Aliyu Baga told the Daily Trust that the bridge fall had caused extra suffering for the local population.
The bridge, according to him, was built in 1970.
