I will solve the security problems of Imo State – Anyanwu

Senator Samuel Anyanwu, a contender for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Imo State governorship election scheduled for November 11, 2023, claims to have the answer to the state’s security issues.

He also asserted that he, his running mate, and their entire team are prepared to topple the state’s existing government.

During a visit to the state’s Oguta local government district, Anyanwu made this declaration while engaging with local party leaders and members.

Do not be terrified, he commanded. We are equipped to win. If everyone does their part, we will protect our votes and no one will be able to stop us. God will use us at this point to set Imo free and restore her safety.

In Izombe and other areas of the LGA, there have been numerous horrific murders of innocent people, as well as willful destruction of property. The governorship candidate condemned these atrocities and accused the state government of employing security forces against the defenseless.

Anyanwu claimed that the current administration has ignored Oguta and has persisted in misleading the populace with false promises to improve Oguta Lake.

But when he becomes governor, he promises to bring enduring peace and development to the LGA.

“Under my leadership, Oguta will be developed using the resources that God has endowed Oguta with. False promises about Oguta Lake have to stop.

It was the candidate’s first official trip to the LGA since becoming the PDP’s presumptive nominee for governor in the November election.

Along with a number of prominent PDP leaders, including the State Chairman, Chief Charles Ugwu, who was represented by the State Organizing Secretary, Nze Law Biaduo, and the acting State Secretary, Senator Anyanwu was accompanied by his deputy, Jones Onyereri.
