Commissioner of Police (CP) Fayoade Adegoke has been assigned by Inspector-General of Police Mr. Kayode Egbetokun to assume the role of CP, Police Command in Lagos.
The reassignment is stated in a signal that AIG Olanrewaju Oladimeji, the Force Secretary, signed.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Adegoke oversaw Armament at Force Headquarters in Abuja prior to his recent assignment.
In that role, he was sent to the Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru-Jos, Plateau, where he completed Executive Course 45 and graduated with 96 other notable Nigerians.
Mr. Idowu Owohunwa, who was elevated to the position of Assistant Inspector-General of Police and assumed command of the Federal Criminal Investigation Department at Alagbon Ikoyi, Lagos, would be replaced by Adegoke.
