Simon Ekpa, the self-proclaimed prime minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, claims that Biafra Resistance Fighters have attacked Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.
The Finland-based lawyer, who has frequently portrayed himself as a pupil of Nnamdi Kanu, the jailed leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), revealed this in a post on his verified X Twitter on Saturday.
He said “Biafra Resistance Fighters are currently in Abuja today 2.12.2023 the result will be out soon. Some already in custody and giving vital information about those masterminding the killing of Biafrans and we are tracking many at large in Abuja. We will bring all of you to book.
Those who made it to Abuja today from the South East, to plan how to kill Biafrans, if you succeed in coming back, Biafrans will wait for you.”
Platinum Times Nigeria reports that the Ebonyi State-born Ekpa, who has been promoting the separation of the South-East region from Nigeria, has been consistently fingered as the mastermind of the country’s violent campaign in Igbo-speaking areas.
