Just In: FG okays N2.1 Trillion as 2023 supplementary budget

A supplementary budget of N2.1 trillion has been approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for 2023.
The budget is intended to cover critical needs, according to Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu, who made this statement following the FEC meeting on Monday in Abuja.
He claims that funds would be allotted to preserve the advancements made in national defense and agriculture in the past.
Additionally, the budget will pay for student loan funding and the wage awards for federal government employees for a period of four months.
