JUST IN: Nabeeha’s four siblings finally regain freedom from abductors

The four remaining siblings of the late Nabeeha Al-Kadriyah have finally regained their freedom.
Platinum Times reports that on January 2nd, the sisters and their father were taken in the Zuma 1 region of Bwari region Council.
Their father was eventually released, allowing him to seek ransom. However, the family’s failure to satisfy their demand within the period set by the kidnappers resulted in Nabeeha’s death.
After the young schoolgirl was killed by his kidnappers, the bandits increased the ransom from N60 million to N100 million, threatening to kill all of the sisters.
Concerned Nigerians expressed condolences and offered assistance in ensuring that the remaining sisters were not slain.
Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Federal Capital Territory Police, FCT command, confirmed the release to Platinum Times on Sunday morning.
Despite reports that the N100 million was paid prior to their release, the PPRO stated that they were rescued by the FCT Anti-Kidnapping unit in collaboration with Nigerian Army personnel.
She stated that the victims were rescued at Kajuru forest in Kaduna State on Saturday night.
“The operatives successfully rescued the victims around Kajuru forest in Kaduna state at about 11:30 pm on Saturday”, she said.
